TabTrade.com - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
